The IBEW welcomes you into our Brotherhood, and the Local Unions of the Eighth District can assist you in improving your standard of living through employment with an IBEW/NECA contractor. All IBEW construction contracts contain employer-paid pension plans, employer-paid health insurance for you and your family, and fair treatment on the job. If you need it, the IBEW has programs available to assist you in gaining the necessary qualifications to meet new and emerging technologies.
